The summary and audio transcription included with your shop are generated by AI only after your shopper and in-house SkilCheck evaluator have completed, proofread, and scored your results.

1. AI Never Grades/Scores Your Shops

All telephone sales evaluations are listened to and graded by SkilCheck’s in-house, human evaluators – never your shopper or AI. All in-person shops are completed by your shopper and then thoroughly listened to and proofread by your SkilCheck in-house evaluator before being sent to you to ensure accuracy.

2. Individual Employee Evaluation

We need employee schedules if you would like specific employees to be evaluated during the shop. Our shoppers are compensated for each attempt to reach your staff, so having the schedules is essential if you want us to evaluate specific individuals without disrupting other employees.

3. Multiple Shopper Voices

SkilCheck has access to a vast network of millions of shoppers nationwide. We aim to assign a different shopper to each of your shops. At a minimum, we ensure there are at least 100 days between phone shops by the same shopper with any employee. Additionally, in-person shoppers will never visit the same location more than once unless there is a staff change and the shopper is not recognized.

4. Audio Recording of Sales Conversation

During in-person visits, the shopper records the sales presentation using their smartphone. This recording is audio-only; video has proven to be too obvious for training purposes. In telephone shops, audio recordings capture the entire sales presentation from the moment the call connects until it ends, along with any incoming follow-up calls from the store.

5. Call Attempt Recordings

When we attempt to contact your designated employee, every call is recorded and time-stamped. This information is included in the evaluation form. You will have access to these recordings to view the number of call centers reached and how often the call went to voicemail instead of being answered by an employee.

6. Phone Numbers Displayed on Caller ID

Our shoppers’ phone numbers will never appear as ‘Out of Area,’ ‘Blocked,’ or ‘Restricted.’ A phone number will always be displayed on your caller ID.  We can make sure the phone number is LOCAL if you prefer.

7. Live, Online Monthly Group Training Session (Self-Storage Industry Only)

Your evaluated employees are invited to a monthly live Zoom training session with Carol Mixon (SkilCheck’s founder) and fellow SkilCheck team members. During this session, participants can listen to and learn from sales calls made by other employees. It’s a fun, relaxed, and easy way for employees to receive essential training.

8. Training Webinars Available for Shopped Employees

SkilCheck provides weekly and monthly training webinars for your employees.

9. Custom Dashboard for Admins & Employees

Our SkilCheck dashboard offers you a multitude of reports and data results at your fingertips.  Admins in your company will receive unique logins that allow them to access all or selected locations, depending on your choice. Additionally, employees can have unique logins to view only their scores and shop evaluation forms, if preferred.  If your company admins need a dashboard walk-through, we are here to help.

10. Scored Evaluation Grading Sheet

All our evaluation forms are completely customizable at no extra cost. If your organization has specific requirements for your mystery shops, let us know, and we will include them in your customization.

11. Follow-Up Response

After the shopper concludes their conversation/visit with your employee, they will wait at least 24 hours to see whether your staff follows up with them by phone or text. This information will be documented on the evaluation form.

12. Employee Feedback Requested on Results

You have the option to request feedback from the employee who was evaluated during the shop. Each evaluation form can include a section for employees to provide their thoughts and comments. After the shops are completed, the employee will receive their results via email and will be prompted to share their feedback. Administrators will receive these responses, keeping the conversation linked to that specific shop.
