Carol Mixon Krendl, a well-known industry expert and owner of SkilCheck Services, has been involved with self-storage since 1984. Carol worked as a corporate trainer for a large self-storage developer with sixty-nine self storage properties and trained over 200 self storage managers. She has written many articles on a variety of self-storage topics, including a quarterly newsletter on self storage sales and self storage customer service. Carol has conducted seminars for self-storage owners and managers on storage related topics and is considered an expert in all aspects of the self-storage industry.
Carol has been active in the Self Storage Association for over 13 years. She has utilized her degree in secondary education by being active on the Education and Membership Committees. Carol has also served with the National Self Storage Association as the President of the Western Region, and served on the National Board of Directors for over 10 years and served on the Executive Committee from 1998-2001. She currently serves on the board of directors as the Vice-President for the California Self Storage Association.
